We welcome you to visit our website, and join us as we celebrate the rich culture, and work of the people of Kasai Oriental in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Leja Bulela, Inc is a non-profit organization created in Detroit, Michigan in 1993. Visit our website for a full description of our goals and activities. We teach our children about Luba history, we initiate social micro-projects in Kasai Oriental, and we aim to build a strong sense of community among ourselves. We advocate the fulfillment of human and economic rights in the Kasai Province. Leja Bulela website aims at making visible the presence of Kasai Oriental through knowledge and information on its people, their dreams and vision.
