Our Mission

Leja Bulela -- “Show That You Care” -- was created to address human rights violations and the social and economic deprivation of the population of Eastern Kasai Province in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The mission of Leja Bulela is to secure justice, education, and economic growth for communities in Kasai Oriental Province. We promote health and human rights through economic, social, and political development, and we concentrate on long-term strategies that can transform thousands of lives.
